Byron "The Bear" Polley -Guest Editorial
Byron "The Bear" Polley put his WBE (United States Heavy Weight Title) on the line against Joe Stoffle(of St.Charles,Mo) Friday night at the Ramada Rumble Chapter Two.
It was an all out brawl, Stoffle came out trying to knock Polleys head off. Every punch that Joe threw showed his intention of achieving a victory by knockout.
Polley started to counter well on Stoffle in the second round.
The third round belonged to Joe, he had Polley on the move on several occasions.
Polley's trainer Earl Walker had an effective counseling session with Polley in the corner. Polley then owned the Fourth round by backing Stoffle into the corner. Polley then landed several unanswered punches leading to a Fourth Round Tko.

The truth shall set you free. The truth is Byron Polley did not knock out Joe Stofle. Referree Danny campbell stopped this fight before anyone was hurt, keeping the WBE heavywieght title in St Joe's Missouri. So Danny Campbell is the WBE Heavywieght champ, he stole the title from stofle fair and square. I doubt Poley would ever agree to a rematch with Joe on account Joe thoroughly whooped his tail in St Joe on Sep.30. If he did it would be big mistake for Byron but at least the people would see the truth AGAIN... The ending to this Sep. 30 heavywieght title fight was disgracefull to the officiating profession and the Commissioner needs to see a video of this fight, then do the only right thing and order a rematch. Joe has never been knocked out and Byron didnt come close. Congratulations Mr Danny Campbell, you are recognized as the New WBE Heavywieght champ.--
Just to clarify a point. It does not matter if a person is actually unconscious or the fight is called as a Technical Knockout It still is counted as a Knockout on the boxers record.
A Technical Knockout can be called at the referee's discretion for any reason to ensure the boxers health.
While we may sometimes think that the call was bogus, we are not in the ring, Ref is.

Well first off, I'd like to say the editorial my girl friend wrote was not to down grade anyone. I think Joe Stofle is a class act totaly and a true down right tough guy. Joe know's what happened and so do I. I do think that the referree did a fine job I dont ever dream of seriously injuring any fighter. Joe was hurt for the time of the fight when the referree did stop the fight. Maybe down the road Joe and I can possibly mix it up again he is a tough kid and I want to be ready for our match down the road. Hats off to Joe Stofle and good luck to him in the future. It also shows your left hook that landed on my shoulder for two seconds which sailed me against the ropes. Hey pushing happens, Im not blaming you, but hurt me? Well...it hsappened again last night, Joe Stofle gives the fans what they came for - a spectacular KO. This time it was Gary Dydell out of St. Joe's. That's Joe's 3rd straight KO since the Polley fight. I guess when Joe becomes a legit contender to the "prestigious" WBE belt, he'll get his rematch with Byron. Until then, the fans in St. Charles will have to "suffer through" watching Joe KO his opponents inside of 3 rounds. Give him another shot Byron.
St Joseph supercard Titanentertainment is hosting all of St Joseph's boxers in one night. One of the fights to mention is Joe Stofle vs. Byron "the bear" Polley for a 6 rounds at the St Joseph Civic arena. Other's on the card are Andre "wicked hands" Wilson vs. TBA, and Rob "the all-american prizefighter" Calloway in the mainevent. There so many fights on this card this sould be very exsplosive.
